Our concert calendar is available for listing all performances of contemporary classical music. Bach and Mozart would not be appropriate. If you are a performer or handle PR for a performer or organization and would like direct access to post your notices here, send us a note. If you don't feel that computer savvy, send the releases here and we'll post them for you.

FINNISH TANGO & KAIKU
FINNISH TANGO & KAIKU Tuesday, November 15, 6 pm Tickets: $10 ($8 American-Scandinavian Foundation members)
The tango is an integral part of Finnish culture—it belongs to Finland just as much as skiing and the sauna. In this celebration of Finnish music, dancers Teppo Malinen and Rinah Arzan perform tango "the Finnish way." The talented New York-based collective Kaiku will perform traditional and contemporary Finnish folk music. Kaiku (Jaana Kantola, Paula Jaakkola, and Erja Vettenranta) is a regular on the local music scene, performing at Symphony Space, Knitting Factory, BAMcafé, Satalla, Galapagos, Bowery Poetry Club, Cornelia Street Café, The Living Room, and Barbes. The group has appeared on WB 11 news and WBAI-FM and WFMU radio. To reserve tickets, call (212) 847-9740.
