Our concert calendar is available for listing all performances of contemporary classical music. Bach and Mozart would not be appropriate. If you are a performer or handle PR for a performer or organization and would like direct access to post your notices here, send us a note. If you don't feel that computer savvy, send the releases here and we'll post them for you.

Lifelines: A Voiceless Multi-Media Opera
(New York, NY) Composer and artist William David Fastenow unveils Lifelines: A Voiceless Multi-Media Opera, based on the poetry of Larry Don Cooper. Elatedly joining the post-modern new music scene, Lifelines combines literature, film, photography, live acoustic and electronic music into one interactive suite. Building off the blocks so masterfully laid by his predecessors—John Cage, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Frank Zappa—Fastenow employs an advanced multi-computer driven system in which movement, light, video, visual art, and live music manipulate each other to tell a story.
Four performances March 16th-19th will be held at Access Theater, 380 Broadway, 4th Floor (at White Street) and are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for students with valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at www.theatermania.com. The concert will be approximately one hour long with no intermission. A champagne reception follows each show catered by Cascata Café Italiano.
