The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and the Kitchen present West Goes East�CalArts at the Kitchen Wednesday, January 26 to Saturday, January 29. The festival features an array of multimedia performances highlighting the diversity of CalArts alumni in the New York Area.
West Goes East spotlights 23 Artists, 100 performers, and 10 world premiers. Special guests include jazz recording artist Ravi Coltrane, electronic music pioneer Mort Subotnick, US Department of Art and Technology Secretary Randall Packer, Cal Arts President Steven Lavine, Andy Warhol Foundation President Joel Wachs, WNYC radio host David Garland, and film composer David Shire.
