Who's Your Enemy?
Some interesting discussions on the home page lead me to wonder about categories of “good” and “bad” music.
Is there a genre of music (popular, unpopular, new, old, local, international, etc.) that you feel has no redeeming value? And, a related question, are there certain values (popularity, adventurousness, craftsmanship, simplicity, complexity, etc.) that take precedence over others in your assessment of a composition’s worth?
